Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has condemned the killing of civilian in a suicide bomb blast in Khost. “President Ashraf Ghani condemned terrorist attack on civilians in the south-eastern Khost province”.
The Afghan Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has stated that he’s been in grieved by the death of civilian in Khost attack and has told such attacks in the holy month of Ramadan is a complete violation of “Islamic teachings”.
Whereas the Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has claimed the attack in Khost. “There were no civilian in the area 22 of the security personnel killed in the attack”, says Zabihullah.
Amid the peace process and dialogue with fighting insurgent groups across Afghanistan Taliban try to remain in the media by claiming bombing and attacks.
Earlier the Afghan leader Gulbadin Hekmatyar joined hands with the Afghan government and stopped all sorts of militant activities that his organization “Hezb e Islami Afghanistan” claimed through last one and half decade targeting the Afghan and Foreign Forces stationed in Afghanistan.
The Hezb e Islami chief had called upon Taliban to abandon their way of struggle and join hands with the Afghan government for putting a dot to the presence of Foreign Forces presence in Afghanistan.
The attacks from Taliban come in a time when Afghan Government and the Coalition Forces are busy in different operations across the country targeting the Taliban and Daesh (Islamic State) fighters.
Earlier the Hezb e Islami spokesperson had told media that high officials of the Taliban had contacted their organization to join the peace process which latter was denied by the Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid.
Amid several calls by the Afghan government and High Peace Council team the Taliban are reluctant to join hands with the government in presence of “Foreign Forces” stationed in Afghanistan.
